Rotary Table Shot Blasting Machine

Rotary table shot blasting machines are suitable for a variety of workpieces, such as engine connecting rods, gears, diaphragm springs, etc., and is widely used in the casting industry and the automobile manufacturing industry.
They can be used to clean and strengthen the surface of workpieces made of steel, iron, aluminum, and other metals. Additionally, they are suitable for workpieces that require uniform surface treatment and high cleaning efficiency.

The frame of the shotblast chamber of the rotary table shot blasting machine is constructed to be sturdy and rigid. It is made of 6-millimeter-thick heavy-duty high-quality steel plates through the welding process. Its structure is carefully designed and has appropriate strength and rigidity. The bottom of the shotblast chamber is equipped with 12-millimeter-thick perforated steel plates.

Special high abrasion and wear-resistant austenitic manganese steel plates along with high durability rubber are used at predetermined locations on the inner surfaces of the shotblast chamber. The manganese steel plates are placed at locations where there might be direct impact of particles or with high ricochet effect. These linings ensure that the particles hitting the inner surfaces of the shotblast chamber will not damage the chamber walls, thus prolonging the service life of the machine.

The rotary shot blasting machine is equipped with two wing doors, which are equipped with a safety interlock mechanism. This mechanism can ensure that the machine shuts down if the doors are opened during the shot blasting process. The rotary table is placed inside the shotblast chamber, and the products to be shot blasted are placed on this rotary table. The abrasive ejected from the shot blasting wheel impacts the workpiece and then falls down. The abrasive passes through the perforated rotary table and is transported to the bucket elevator through the chute/hopper system. For larger-sized machines, the hopper is equipped with a screw conveyor system that can transport the abrasive from the hopper below the rotary table to the elevator. The design of the shotblast chamber and the rotary table enables the abrasive to be retained and fall through the hopper/chute without falling out of the machine when the doors are opened. The abrasive can be reused multiple times in the machine, which is achieved by the shot blast media recovery system composed of an elevator, a media cleaner and a storage silo. The shot blasting media/abrasive is fed back to the shot blasting wheel/turbine through valves and hoses.
