4.The filtering efficiency is high and the application range is wide.

The disadvantages of filter bag of shot blasting machine:

1.The filtering area of a single filtering bag is small;

2.Because the filtering area of a single filtering bag is small, the volume of the bag type dust collector is a little larger, the floor area is a little larger. Compared to the filter cartridge dust collector, for the machine with the same filtering area, the volume of the filter bag dust collector is a little larger.

3.The first investment is a bit more due to the large volume.

The advantages of the filter cartridge of shot blasting machine:

1.The first investment is lower;

2.The volume and the floor area is smaller;

3.The filtering effect of the filter cartridge is same to that of the bag type as long as the material is suitable, and they are both widely used filtering ways

  The disadvantages of filter cartridge of shot blasting machine:

1.Because the filter cartridge surface is V-shaped corrugation, the corrugation is susceptible to being leakage of powder when dust is repeatedly cleaned by the compressed air

2.Due to the fact that small V-shaped corrugation can result in residual dust or accumulating in V-shaped position, even blocking the filter cartridge, increasing filtering resistance, and consequently the filtering area is reduced and the filter cartridge is more susceptible to being damaged.

3.Because the filter cartridge is susceptible to being blocked and damaged, the replacing frequency is comparatively high.

4.Only applicable for tiny dust and not applicable for anti-explosion dust. For example, for the flammable and explosive dust, only filter bag type dust collector can be selected. This is because the filter bag surface is more smooth and is installed vertically, the cleaning effect is good and is not susceptible to accumulating dust.
