DISA Bogie Shot Blasting Machine are the ideal solution for the treatment of large and heavy castings or forgings ranging from 5 to 75 tons, such as marine engines, energy and power generation components and wind towers. The bogie transports the workpiece inside the blast room. The work car is also available with a rotary table (up to 75 T capacity) to rotate the workpiece for optimal blast coverage. Wheels are installed on oscillating panels to optimize abrasive streams.

Major features:

Solution with moving portal for blast wheel arrangement allows for reduced installation space when the blasting demand involves very large workpieces.

Air blasting stations with guns/nozzles for manual finishing of the workpiece when composite structures are being blasted.

Double elevators to reduce total height. Cabinet lining in cast plates, manganese steel or rubber according to application.

Overhead combined crane, up to 50 ton, and pass through solutions (double doors) with

double work cars (Y-shaped floor rails).
Bogie Work Cars Shot Blasting Machine from DISA are ideal for the economic sane removal and cleaning of large and heavy castings, such as castings for wind turbines. The use of the transport bogie with rotary table allows castings to be loaded and unloaded outside of the shot blasting chamber by crane, and moved safely into and out of the machine.
Once loaded, the casting is first shot blasted by blast wheels, and if necessary, additional air blasting is performed manually by an operator within the blast chamber. This allows areas of the casting to be cleaned that could not be hit by the blast wheel and shot blasting process.
