Sand Peening Pots

As the core constituent component of sandblasting equipment, the double-chamber shot blasting pot plays an extremely vital role throughout the entire shot blasting operation process. During the shot blasting cycle, the top container is capable of automatically replenishing materials for the bottom container, thereby guaranteeing that the shot blasting operation can be carried out in a continuous and uninterrupted manner.

The double-chamber shot blasting pot system consists of two storage containers, namely the upper one and the lower one, with each container being equipped with a manifold. Owing to such a structural design, the system is endowed with the capability to achieve fully continuous shot blasting operations. During the shot blasting cycle, the top storage container takes on the responsibility of continuously supplying materials to the bottom storage container. Meanwhile, the liquid level indicator located within the bottom storage container will activate the top storage container at the appropriate time. Precisely beneath the bottom storage container of the shot blasting machine, pinch valves and abrasive dosing valves (wherein the abrasive dosing valves adopt a closed-loop control mode) will be installed.

On the manifold of the bottom storage container, a main air valve is installed, which is connected to the so-called "mixing pipe". Moreover, check valves are fitted at all connection points. Each of the storage containers is maintained in a pressurized state and is interconnected via steel pipes, thus constructing an independent air system within the double-chamber shot blasting machine.

The air inlet of this air system is furnished with a 2-inch main air valve, which can be opened through the human-machine interface (HMI) control panel. Once opened, it enables the pressurized air to enter the double-chamber shot blasting machine without hindrance.
In the vicinity of this main air valve, a remotely controllable pressure reducing valve (also adopting a closed-loop control mode) is installed, and this pressure reducing valve can be adjusted through the human-machine interface (HMI) control panel. Each of the two storage containers is equipped with a loading cone, and the opening and closing of the loading cone are controlled by cylinders. The control process is automated via the control panel and also feeds back relevant information to the liquid level indicator.
The Loading Cones:

The upper storage pot is sealed by means of a pneumatic loading cone, thereby facilitating the pressurization of the pressure vessel. When the pressures within the two storage pots reach an equivalent level, the pneumatic loading cone of the lower storage pot will open, giving rise to a material replenishment system. At this time, the medium within the upper storage pot will replenish the lower storage pot. Subsequently, the reverse operation process will be executed. Once the lower storage pot approaches an empty state again, the entire aforementioned process will be repeated.

The Exhaust Valve:
For the operation of the shot blasting pot, it is requisite to apply control pressure to the diaphragm of the valve so as to close the exhaust valve. In the absence of control pressure on the diaphragm, the valve will remain in an open state.

The Main Air Valve:
The air inlet of this air system is equipped with a 2-inch main air valve. This valve can be opened through the control panel, allowing the pressurized air to enter the double-chamber sandblasting machine. Upon completion of this operation, all the remaining valves can be operated accordingly. In close proximity to this main air valve, there is a remotely controllable pressure reducing valve with a closed-loop system, and its pressure can be adjusted on the control panel, which implies that the pressures at all valves will be identical thereafter.
