Gear Parts shot blasting machine

The gear shot blasting machine is a kind of equipment that uses the high-speed shot stream from the shot blasting equipment to project onto the gears, so that a hardened layer is generated on the surface of the gear teeth through processing to a certain depth, and the residual compressive stress is eliminated. This residual compressive stress offsets part of the tensile stress of the external load, suppresses the expansion of cracks on the tooth surface, effectively eliminates the influence of the structural size factors of parts and the stress concentration during the processing, eliminates the influence of the incomplete quenching layer generated during the carburizing and quenching process, and improves the fatigue resistance performance of the gear.

The shot blasting machine comprises 4 working stations and is capable of conducting loading and unloading operations within the preset time. It is furnished with a cyclone separator for sorting and reclaiming the abrasive grains. In terms of system control, it is equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC) featuring an operation interface. The rotational speed of the satellite disc, as well as the speed and position of shot blasting, are all adjustable.
The rotary table of the rotary table type gear strengthening shot blasting machine is situated within the circular chamber body. Small self-rotating tables are installed on the large rotary table, and the rotary table is partitioned. Each area where the self-rotating table is located forms an independent chamber body. One station is for loading and unloading workpieces, and another is for the processing operation. A shot blasting device is arranged behind each processing station to perform shot blasting on the workpiece from the rear side of the machine tool. Two stations are utilized for buffering and sealing.
 The rotary drive device transmits power to the sprocket on one side of the worktable through the motor, sprocket chain, worm gear reducer and chain drive device, thereby driving the rotary table to rotate intermittently.
When the shot blasting machine is in operation, the workpieces to be processed, which are placed at the stations, are continuously transferred to the processing stations by the rotation of the rotary table. After processing, they are transferred out along with the rotary table. The loading and unloading stations of the shot blasting machine are always open, and the partitions serve a protective function, eliminating the need for door protection.
The rotary table separated structure achieves effective sealing of high-speed projected steel shots, presenting the following advantages:
1.The workpieces rotate intermittently with the rotary table. New workpieces are transferred in while the cleaned ones are transferred out. The 90-degree station conversion time of the large rotary table is extremely short, minimizing the frequent operations and start-ups of both the shot blasting device and the rotary table.
2.Since steel shots are projected only in the two small chambers at two stations and there are protective plates on the opposite side, and the steel shots on both sides are blocked by the partitions and sealing protective curtains, damage to other parts outside the small chambers of the processing stations is averted, reducing the maintenance workload.
3.Given that the shot blasting device of this equipment is directly mounted on a highly robust large door, it is highly convenient to overhaul the shot blasting device and the rotary table after opening the door.
