Rotary Indexing Satellite Shot Blasting Machine

Rotary indexing table shot blasting machines are engineered to provide precision blasting for complex parts. Rotary tables offer multiple stations for high volume manufacturing of gears, sprockets and other complex shapes. The multiple stations allow for loading and unloading of finished parts while parts are being blasted, maximizing production volume.
Rotary indexing shot blasting machines are designed and manufactured to meet the production requirements, providing efficient manufacturing of precision shapes. We design a rotary shot blasting machine that meets the requirements and will operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime. From custom parts holders to determining the most effective peening media.

The satellite turntable shot blasting machine consists of three turntables, with each part spaced 120 degrees apart, allowing loading and unloading operations within the set time. The front part faces the operator, enabling the loading and unloading of parts. This machine can also be used as a fully automated system with robotic loading and unloading of parts.
The two inner parts are sealed with doors, allowing blasting while loading/unloading parts at the front.
The entire turntable rotates and indexes to move to the next station. However, each part has its own rotating device so that the parts will also rotate while being shot blasted.
The satellite turntable shot blasting machine is located inside the circular chamber body. There are small self-rotating turntables on the large 公转 turntable. The 公转 turntable is separated by partitions, and the area where each self-rotating turntable is located forms an independent chamber body. One station is for loading and unloading workpieces, and another station is for the processing operation. A shot blasting device is arranged behind each processing station to perform shot blasting on the workpiece from the rear side of the machine tool.
The transmission device transmits power to the sprocket on one side of the worktable through the motor, sprocket chain, worm gear reducer and chain transmission device, driving the turntable to rotate intermittently.
When the shot blasting machine is working, the workpieces to be processed installed at the station are continuously transferred to the processing station by the rotation of the turntable, and then transferred out with the turntable after processing. The loading and unloading station of the shot blasting machine is always open, and the partition plays a protective role, so there is no need to set up a door for protection.
The machine is equipped with a cyclone separator for sorting and recycling the abrasive grains. In terms of system control, it is equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC) with an operation interface. The rotational speed of the satellite turntable as well as the speed and position of shot blasting can all be adjusted.
There are two high-efficiency blasting wheels on the blasting chamber. The bucket elevator transports the shot blasting medium to a higher height and puts the abrasive shot blasting medium into the medium cleaner. The shot blasting medium cleaner can ensure that the clean and properly sized abrasive returns to the machine for sandblasting. There are two silos at the bottom of the abrasive medium cleaner. Each silo is equipped with a shot blasting medium control valve, and the abrasive is sent to the shot blasting turbine through a dedicated hose.
The turntable partitioned structure realizes the effective sealing of high-speed projected steel shots, with the following advantages:
The workpieces rotate intermittently with the turntable. New workpieces are transferred in while the cleaned workpieces are transferred out. The 120-degree station conversion time of the large turntable is very short, reducing the frequent operations and frequent startups of both the shot blasting device and the turntable.
Since the steel shots are projected only in the two small chambers at the two stations and there are protective plates on the opposite side. The steel shots on both sides are blocked by the partitions and sealed protective curtains, avoiding the damage to other parts outside the small chambers of the processing stations and reducing the maintenance workload.
Since the shot blasting device of this equipment is directly installed on a very sturdy large door, it is very convenient to overhaul the shot blasting device and the turntable after opening the large door.
