Wire coil shot blast descaling machine is mainly composed of a pre-straightening machine, a cleaning chamber, a wire guiding device, blast wheels, an abrasive recycling system (including an elevator, a separator, a screw conveyor and a flow adjusting device), a blowing mechanism, a dust collector system, an electrical control system and other components. The blast wheels are adopted to blast four high-speed and powerful projectile flows.The projectile flows beat the fast-moving wires to remove the rusty layer and scale on the wires in order to obtain a clean metal surface. There is no residual scale on the cleaned surface. The surface reaches the Swedish standard grade sa2-2.5 and shows the metal color.
Working principal:
Wire coil shot blast descaling machine can continuously clean the workpieces. The wires are pulled through the external power. After the wires are straightened through the pre-straightening machine, the wires are conveyed to the blasting area in the chamber body. The projectile flows beat the fast-moving wires to remove the rusty layer and scale on the wires in order to obtain a clean metal surface. The projectiles are conveyed to the abrasive recycling system through the recycling screw. During cleaning, the abrasive and dust are accumulated at the lower part of the elevator through the chamber body hopper, the vertical and horizontal screw conveyor and are elevated to the separator on the upper part of the machine. The separated clean abrasives are fallen off in the separator hopper and are used for blasting cycle. The dust produced during shot blasting is conveyed to the dust collector system through the exhaust tube. The clean air is discharged into the atmosphere and the granular dust is captured and collected.
Disa also offers coil blasting solutions with patented mandrels to treat wire in coils. The mandrel opens and closes the coil during the blasting process to clean wire and rod whilst still in the coil. The machine is available in one mandrel or two mandrel solutions so that one coil and be loaded/unloaded whilst one coil is being blasted. The number and position of wheels is expressly designed for this difficult application to achieve maximum coverage.

The structural features of the main functional components :
1.The cleaning chamber is of a large cavity plate type box welded structure and the chamber body inner wall is provided with wear-resisting protective plates. The blasting job is carried out in the sealed cavity.
2.The wear-resisting protective plates can prevent the chamber wall plates from being worn, an can prolong the service life of the chamber body.
3.Utilize the rebound function of the abrasives and effectively attack the wire surface and help to improve the cleaning quality and cleaning efficiency.
4.A maintenance door is set on the blasting chamber in order to maintain and replace the vulnerable parts inside the chamber. A safety interlock switch is arranged on the upper of the door and the blast wheels can be started only after the door is closed.
5.The wear-resisting protective plates in the cleaning chamber adopt the wear-resisting cover to cast the nut bolting, protect the bolt heads against being damaged and the bolt heads are easy to assemble ,disassemble and replace.
6.Four built-in DS380 blast wheels are installed. Each section of the wire can be subjected to being blasted more than twice.
7.The dimensional accuracy of the blasting chamber should be guaranteed. The chamber body adopts heavy frame.structural thicken wall plate.The chamber body inner wall is provided with high-manganese wear-resisting steel rolled protective plates and the service life of the protective plate is over 10000 hours. Three protective curtains are arranged on both sides of the auxiliary chamber. A metal ring type seal is arranged between the main cleaning chamber and the auxiliary chamber. The abrasives that rebounded to the auxiliary chamber are completely blocked by the sealed curtains and back flow to the cleaning chamber to guarantee the abrasives not to overflow. The box body is tight and the size of the box door can permit workers in and out. The lining plate and sealing curtains are convenient to install and replace.
